OUTSIDE!

I mentioned that we've moved.  We're (almost) out in the country now, and Eileen is loving it!

So are Beau and Lucy.

The weather has been spectacular, and we've been taking daily walks and playing outside with the dogs and cat. 

 When Eileen gets tired of walking around, we take a wagon ride.  Last week, we went the way to Chichi & Deda's!

All (Farm) Girl

Eileen loves to dress up.  In her tutu, and lately, in her "jewelry."  


In Tennessee last weekend, she found a bunch of old beads that my sister and I used to play with.  And she immediately put them on:

 Of course, Eileen also loved playing with the old Little People farm.

 We went to my grandparents' house in Nashville on Sunday to a party for Papa's 84th birthday.  Of course, I'm a dunce and didn't remember my camera.  FAIL.  


Today is Papa's birthday, my Aunt Patti's birthday, and my parents' anniversary!

Under the Weather

Last week, Eileen wasn't feeling so well.  

She is fascinated with her thermometer

She didn't like being sick at all...

But we did enjoy some fun cuddle times on the couch.  And we watched a lot of Yo Gabba Gabba while Eileen drank her pedialyte.  

She slept a lot (naps during the day... not so much at night)....

  

 

Eileen has bounced back to her energetic little self and she's all better now!

Eileen received a couple of fun ride-on toys for her birthday and Christmas.  At the time, I don't think she was ready to play with them, but she has been obsessed with them lately.

At first, there was a little confusion as to how she should use her toy:

But with just a little practice, she's really gotten the hang of it!

I Took a Break

I've been gone from the blog for a while because we have been moving.

We moved to a bigger house about two miles from where we were living.  So we're still in Beatrice.  I'll post more on this when we get completely moved in.  Right now, things are still in boxes...

Eileen is really enjoying the extra space in the new house...

 She is also loving my computer.

 

Sunday Morning

On Sunday, David read in bed while Eileen slept and I began getting ready for church.

Eileen was in a hilarious sleeping position!

Eileen loves to get into things.

I don't mean that she just likes to tear things apart and check them out.

 I mean that she literally likes to get IN things.  Like wagons.  Or baskets.

 She had a great time at the law office last week playing in the basket where some of her toys usually live.
