Snow Stinks

It didn't ice/snow in Tennessee.

It CERTAINLY didn't ice/snow in Beatrice.

But ice and snow fell in Mississippi- between Beatrice and Middlefork.

So our weekend plans for a trip to Tennessee were ruined.
We were all very disappointed.

Instead of snowing in Beatrice, we had an all-day downpour.

To paraphrase Eileen's Uncle Thomas, we were about to build an ark.

So while David went to work in Monroeville, Eileen and I had a photo shoot.
Again.

She seems pretty optimistic about her future career.

LOVE THOSE CHEEKS!

Friday afternoon, David's godmother Mrs. Lori Shamblin stopped by to see Eileen.
Mrs. Lori is one of Eileen's Mumsie's best friends.  She lives in Tuscaloosa and took great care of David while he was in law school there.

This morning, Eileen let us sleep until almost 8am (with only one feeding during the night)!  We are just lounging around the house and contemplating a trip to Montgomery to meet friends for Mexican food.  It's looking like a perfect lazy Saturday.
