Tuscaloosa Tornado

One-seventh of Tuscaloosa was wiped out by a tornado last week.

A neighborhood that was particularly badly damaged was Cedar Crest, where both David and I had houses during law school.  A lot of law students live in that neighborhood because it is less than two minutes from the law school.  They have all been displaced by storm damage.

David lived at 218 Cedar Crest.  He owned that house with his friend Bryan Kilpatrick.

Megan, Katie, and I lived at 231 Cedar Crest.

Both houses are still standing, but neither is in good shape.

218 Cedar Crest is missing the room that David and Bryan added onto the back, and there were at least three pecan trees that fell across the roof.

231 Cedar Crest looks to have serious storm damage as well.

We're praying for everyone in Tuscaloosa, especially those people who live there and have lost everything.
