Eileen's Too Sexy for her Shirt...

My little girl is a MODEL!

If you don't get the reference made in the title, watch this.

Okay, not really.  David is no Billy Ray Cyrus, and I'm no Dina Lohan... so our little girl isn't going to be pushed be given the opportunity to go into show business.

But Eileen did have her picture taken a LOT today.  Because I finally got around to having her first set of baby pictures made!

We got up early, got Eileen's "wardrobe" together, and gave our little girl a bath.

The very talented Jennifer Pharr photographed Eileen, and we all had a good time at the photo session.  Eileen loved Jennifer and was happy and smiling most of the time.

First, we had Eileen's picture taken in her baptism gown.

All ready to have her picture taken
David's mom made Eileen's gown and her slip.  She began making it before she even knew that Eileen was on the way.

The lace bonnet is a Steele family bonnet.

And David's grandfather, Col. Herring (Grandaddy Don), made the cradle for David when he was a baby.

Eileen loves the red Mallory the Monkey toy!

Pretty, pretty baby!

Next, we had Eileen's picture taken in her little diaper cover and bonnet.  David's mom made the little panties to match the baptismal gown.

Finally I dressed Eileen in a little blue dress.  I love blue on her because it looks so pretty with her eyes.  (Yes, I'm one proud mamma!)

The blue dress was a size 6 months.  My baby is getting so big!

Eileen had the pacifier to keep her happy while Jennifer got everything set up

Surprised by the bright flash!

Eileen kept pulling her dress up.
She's really figured out how to use her hands this week

Eileen was so good for the entire photo session.  She really enjoys having her picture taken and I think she's a little ham!

I can't wait until we get to see the actual photos!  Jennifer said that I can share some of them on here, so check back for them in about two weeks to see the beautiful professional photos.
