When Eileen was born, she came into this world looking around and taking everything in.
She was VERY alert. Dr. Powell said she was the child of two lawyers, looking around to make sure that everyone was doing what they were supposed to do.
As she's grown, Eileen has become even more interested in her surroundings. She watches EVERYTHING. And she's learned to use her hands. To put things into her mouth.

Eileen decided not to sleep through the night anymore this week. Doesn't her poor mamma look tired? |

Hand in the mouth... again! |
When our friend Wendy gave us this adorable outfit, it looked HUGE. I couldn't imagine my tiny baby wearing that big ol' size 6 month onesie. And now it's a perfect fit!
Eileen can sit up perfectly in her bumbo and her walker.
She's also becoming very interested in her toys.

Really focused on the rattle |
Eileen really, really likes to "sit up" and watch everything going on around her.

On Saturday, David's Chichi & Deda invited us over for (a delicious) lunch.

Eileen on Deda's lap. She's watching basketball on TV. |
Yes, I let my infant watch TV. She loves it, especially when basketball is on.
She also likes to watch Beverly Hills, 90210 (the old version).

"MOM! Get out of the way- I can't watch the game" |
David, Eileen, and I spent the rainy Saturday afternoon relaxing at home. Eileen really knows how to kick back and get comfortable.
